We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with strong technical capability to develop, evaluate, and deliver high-quality process engineering studies and designs. The role is focused on hands-on technical analysis, concept development, and detailed engineering to support safe, efficient, and economically sound project outcomes.
The ideal candidate will bring deep process engineering knowledge, sound engineering judgement, and a practical approach to solving complex technical challenges.
What you will be doing:
- Prepare and review process deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, equipment datasheets, line lists, and operating philosophies.
- Evaluate process alternatives and provide technically sound recommendations supported by analysis.
- Support hazard identification and risk assessments (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA) and implement outcomes into design.
- Interface closely with mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and civil disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Provide technical input to procurement activities including vendor data review and bid evaluations.
- Ensure engineering work complies with applicable standards, codes, and company specifications.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and auditable technical documentation.
Formal qualifications or training:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years' relevant industry experience in process engineering roles.
