A highly successful Medical Technology business with roots and presence throughout Europe are working with DB Charles Recruitment to hire a new Key Account Manager to cover new & existing clients in areas predominantly around East Anglia (North London, Essex, Cambridge, Peterborough, Coventry, Nottingham, Leicester, Louth, Boston). The business takes a brilliant approach to hiring, considering candidates from recent scientific graduates requiring training and development to experienced Field Sales individuals. Personality and attitude are key to the hiring of this business.
The role will focus on Medical Sales, liaising with contacts within the NHS, Private Hospitals (surgeons/nursing staff) through to procurement & finance professionals. The hired candidate will report directly to the UK Sales Director and key duties for the role will include:
- Developing new clients and maintaining existing business
- Lead follow ups
- Product training
- CRM Management
- Pitches & presentations
The client will consider candidates with the following skill sets:
- A recent graduate with a strong Biological/Medical/Anatomy focused degree or candidates such as Senior Sales Representatives/Account Managers within the Medical Industry
- Contacts within the medical industry would be highly advantageous, however not essential
- Must hold a full UK Driving License and have their own vehicle
- Must be based in the region they will be operating in
- Must be highly motivated and sales driven
- Strong ability to learn
The role will be working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm and the client is seeking to pay a salary of £35,000 per annum rising to £38,000 after the probation period with additional benefits such as:
