Based in London not far from Kings Cross Train Station, DB Charles Recruitment have been working with a brilliant business seeking to hire a new permanent Electrical Estimator.
The business is widely recognised within their industry of building services / construction and they have a company history spanning over 70 years accumulating in a fantastic reputation, turnover and people based success.
The role will sit within the Estimating department and be amongst 10 others in the team, with the hired individual taking the lead and charge of electrical services quotes.
They will additionally play a key role in guiding and mentoring junior members of the team.
Day to day duties will include
- Providing accurate electrical services quotes
- Managing tender & cost processes
- Reviewing tenders
- Working closely with other internal departments such as the legal & contracts team and the technical team
- Maintaining control of the costings sheet
- Site surveys
- Site investigations
- Liaising with clients
- Daily workings with estimating software
- Reporting
- Team meetings
- Mentoring
