DB Charles are hiring for a Contract Manager to work for an outstanding IT business in Lincoln. The role will sit within the sales & commercial team, reporting into the Head of Sales and be amongst 9 others in the team, plus there will be regular crossover to the other departments & staff.
The main aim of this procurement role is to draft, review & negotiate new supplier & customer contracts as well as renew & update existing ones. This person will be critical in ensuring the contracts are compliant, legally sound and ensuring customers are happy.
Main day to day duties will include:
- Drafting, reviewing & negotiating on new customer facing contracts
- Renewing & updating existing contracts as and when required
- Ensure contract templates are up to date
- Ensure the contract library is up to date and added to regularly
- Take responsibility during the whole contract life‑cycle
- Tracking & submission of contracts
- Maintaining solid comms with senior internal staff on contract issues, pitfalls and general progress
- Ensure all contracts are legally sound, compliant and in line with additional policies (company policies, GDPR etc)
- Onboarding duties
- Plus many more

- Previous procurement experience as a Contract Manager or within a similar role
- Contracts background within healthcare or with exposure to the NHS or private medical world would be advantageous
- Qualifications within procurement / contract management would be advantageous
- Must have excellent negotiation skills as well as strong communication skills
- Excellent English Language skills
- Previous experience with Salesforce
- Any exposure to regulations & standards such as ISO9001, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Scheme, UK/EU GDPR would be fantastic
Based relatively close to Lincoln and comfortable going into the office for x2 days a week with the other days working from home. The client is ideally looking to hire at a salary level dependent on experience of between GBP38,500 to GBP55,000 per annum and this hybrid role will be working Monday to Friday with hours of 8:30AM to 5:15PM.
