Based in Henley-on-Thames, DB Charles Recruitment are working with a top business seeking to hire a permanent Business Analyst with strong skills in documenting change requests/specifications from the customer, via the internal development team and back again. This person will need to have excellent communication skills for handling both technical and non-technical personnel.
The business are predominantly established as IT solutions providers; however, the group portfolio involves work in other interesting areas. The business has been established for over 10+ years and in this time has seen great growth in turnover.
Key day-to-day duties for the role will be:
- Documenting change requests/specifications
- Dealing with the internal development team to make sure the customers' requirements are met
- Elements of account management
- Solution creation
- Working in JIRA
- Providing client training
- Testing changes
The business is seeking candidates with the following demonstrable experience:
- Holds a background working as a Business Analyst/Reporting Analyst/Technical Support or a position involving creating & documenting change requests/specifications
- A background working within an IT business
- Technical support knowledge would be advantageous
- Able to demonstrate previous experience documenting change requests/specifications
- Must have strong experience working with JIRA
- Excellent communication skills, highly presentable and comfortable in a client-facing role where required
- Able to communicate effectively with technical & non-technical personnel
- Ability to commit to a permanent role office-based in Henley-on-Thames
The role is a Monday to Friday position with hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm and the business are ideally seeking to pay a salary of between £36,000 per annum.
Other aspects to note:
- 21 days holiday + bank holidays
- After each year of service, gaining 1 more day holiday up to a maximum of 25 days holiday
