Join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor! Are you a dedicated and conscientious team player with excellent knowledge of the airfreight industry? We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to contribute to the smooth and efficient processing of operational activities within our warehouse. In this role, you will assist the Managers in managing the Air Warehouse, ensuring all KPIs and standards are met while maintaining strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations. Join us to help exceed customer expectations and drive operational excellence.
Location: Heathrow, UK
Hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am to 6pm
What will you be doing?
- Delegate and supervise work tasks for warehouse staff as required.
- Maintain professional working relationships with other departments and external suppliers.
- Receive, book, and process inbound and outbound export and import freight using the GXD system.
- Load and unload vehicles using a forklift truck.
- Adhere to all regulatory body procedures (e.g., CAA, ETSF) and use handheld scanners as part of the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, following health and safety procedures and conducting housekeeping functions in the warehouse and yard.
- Complete all ULD builds and associated documentation to airline specifications, ensuring aircraft safety and final quality checks.
- Complete daily audits.
About You
- Previous experience in a Supervisory role.
- Excellent knowledge of the airfreight industry.
- Demonstrates a passion for excellence and a commitment to achieving the highest standards.
- Good timekeeping and attendance.
- Ability to delegate and supervise tasks effectively.
- If you are a trained screener, you will be rewarded with an additional £2,500 p/a.
