Join our team as a Transport Planner! Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in our transport department? We're looking for a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Transport Planner. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our transport operations run smoothly and efficiently, maximizing load capacity while maintaining our profit margins. Location: Basildon, UK
Working Days / Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:30pm to 8:30pm
What will you be doing?
- Performing clerical tasks to manage transport activities.
- Processing, preparing, and verifying transport documents.
- Handling discrepancies and overages to ensure smooth operations.
- Planning routes for the CODI fleet.
- Attending driver Pre-Communication Meetings (PCM) when necessary.
- Carrying out Driver on Road Supervision (DORS) to monitor performance.
- Managing delays and average stop times effectively.
- Scheduling and organizing drivers and vehicles to optimize efficiency and maximize load capacity.
- Addressing any miscellaneous issues that arise during operations.
