Are you a detail-oriented and organized professional with a passion for logistics? We’re looking for a Transport Administrator to support the efficient operation of our transport department. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy problem-solving, this role is for you!

Location: Basildon, UK

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00 to 17:30

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Perform clerical duties to manage transportation activities.
  • Process, prepare, and verify all relevant transport documents.
  • Handle discrepancies and overages efficiently.
  • Plan and optimize routes for the CODI fleet.
  • Attend driver Pre-Communication Meetings (PCM) when required.
  • Conduct Driver on Road Supervision (DORS) when needed.
  • Monitor and manage delays to minimize stop times.
  • Maximize load capacity and efficiently schedule drivers and vehicles.
  • Address and resolve any transport-related issues as they arise.

About You

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in transport administration or logistics (preferred).
  • The ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in transport management systems (advantageous).
