This role is currently part of DB SCHENKER, which is in the process of integrating with DSV. As part of this transformation, youโ€™ll be contributing to the future of the worldโ€™s largest global logistics company.

Are you an organised, proactive person who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We\’re looking for a Sample Packing & Customer Support Coordinator to join our dedicated team in Abingdon. This is a varied role combining hands-on sample preparation, customer service, and admin support for our engine testing operations.

Location: Abingdon

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 โ€“ 15:00

Job Type: Part-Time, On-Site

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Pack samples securely for shipment (box and pallet)
  • Prepare paperwork and shipping documentation, including airway bills
  • Use manual handling equipment safely
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping
  • Gather and input information through internal systems
  • Respond to customer queries and escalate issues when needed
  • Suggest and support improvements to efficiency and safety
  • Provide general admin support to the team

About You

We\’re looking for someone who is:

  • Customer-focused, with excellent communication and service skills
  • Comfortable working hands-on with packaging and manual handling tools
  • Well-organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented
  • Able to handle a busy, varied workload
  • A good team player with a positive attitude
  • Previous experience in airfreight/logistics is desirable, though full training will be provided
