Site Project Engineer

Description Job Title: Site Project Engineer Reports to: Project Manager Location: London and the South East This role is site based however the post holder may be required to travel to ensure that the needs of the business are met. Key Responsibilities: o Reporting and working with the Site Manager and commercial team. o Managing QA and complete AS built Surveys and Site Files. o Site set up and compliance with health and safety. o Assist in Completing all setting out associated to their project, including pipework plant locations and penetrations. o Raising technical queries on design issues. o Ensure works are carried out as per ITP’s including correct engineering checks, hold points, inspections and tests. o Support labour teams with design queries and specifications. o Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment. o Ensure accurate and timely records are kept including site diaries, quality assurance documentation (QA), photos, as-built surveys, red-line drawings and test results. o Constant communication and liaison with the commercial team providing detailed information to allow for accurate financial reporting including compensation events (CE) and early warnings (EW’s). o Manage snagging system that records and clears all snags and notify commercial team and subcontractors. o Control and minimise waste on site. o Identify/assist in introducing new process, techniques and innovations on site. Person Specification Essential: o 3-5 years minimum experience working with MEICA contractors. o Degree in Engineering or Time Served relevant trade. o CSCS card. Desirable: o SMSTS or SSSTS
