DB Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager for a client of ours based in Devon / Somerset. The successful candidate will be highly experienced within building projects within Commercial / Industrial Buildings - Education / Refurbishments.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
- Ensuring the health and safety performance on projects.
- Delivering a quality product, to specification, first time, to the end of the project.
- Ensuring a culture of zero defects is achieved, in line with a robust and diligently applied project quality plan.
- Ensure quality is managed in line with procedures.
- Ensuring exceptional aftercare is applied on all projects.
- Maximising the commercial return of your projects.
- Delivering the numbers – Turnover, Cash, Profit and Cost.
- Ensure compliance with all DC procedures on all of your projects.
- Ensuring a ‘show me’ approach is taken in relation to compliance.
- Compilation and monitoring of programme of your projects, we use Asta programming software.
- Taking action to co-ordinate time recovery and implement short term trade programmes.
- Understanding the commercial position in accordance with the programme.
- Ensure completion of accurate ‘as built’ programme.
- Ensure EOT robust processes are completed.
- Ensuring the competence and performance of team members on your projects.
- Personal development for team members on your projects.
- Holding regular effective one to one conversations – support and challenge.
- Use of ‘expectations exchange’ concept to ensure people are clear of their individual responsibilities on the project.
