2nd Foundation Music and Arrow Production Music are independently owned sister record labels in the production music industry. Established for over a decade with nearly 200 albums published, our music is frequently featured on major productions across the media landscape and has distribution around the world. We're a small team, working with a multitude of composers to write and release at least 20 albums per year.
We are seeking a Production Assistant to help ensure the day-to-date production operations of both labels. The job will consist of tasks including planning and creating track cutdowns and versions in ProTools, inputting metadata, managing album data and uploading albums to our distributors and streaming services. Other duties may include assembling press packs for distributors, putting together short promotional videos, and creating and maintaining playlists on our website. You will be working closely with the producers and production director to ensure that everything is in place for monthly album releases. Training will be provided on all fronts - this industry is quite niche, so we don't expect you to know everything already - but a strong musical background is essential, alongside a good, demonstrable knowledge of music sequencing software.
This is primarily a work from home role, but you must be able to travel into Central London roughly once per month. We run recording sessions around the Greater London and South East area, and attendance at these will be encouraged. We do sometimes record in Europe with occasional opportunities to attend.
You must be able to legally work in the UK.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week). However we are open to flexible working to an extent, and/or reduced hours. Working on Wednesdays will be compulsory for staff cover. We will provide you with a work laptop and all software necessary.
Please be aware that this is not a role for composers aspiring to break into the industry.

- An excellent command of written English
- Good communication skills for working in a small team

- Able to fluently use Protools or a similar DAW in order to create cutdowns
- Fluent in Excel and Google Sheets
- Photoshop
- Ability to read music
- Video editing software such as FinalCut
