We are looking for a sharp, commercially driven Meat Buyer who thrives on negotiation, relationship building, and securing the best deals in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Source and purchase meat and protein products in line with business needs and margin targets
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply terms with suppliers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor activity
- Identify new sourcing opportunities and cost-saving initiatives
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to align supply with demand
- Manage stock levels, ensuring availability while minimising waste
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in meat or protein buying, within wholesale, retail or FMCG
- Confidence to negotiate, challenge, and walk away from bad deals

- Must have experience on volume deals, international supply chains and the key suppliers
