Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and customer-focused LGV Class 2 Driver to join our Banbury team.
The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for carrying out multi-drop refrigerated deliveries to our customers, including retailers, butchers, and catering clients. This is a hands-on role that combines professional driving with excellent customer service and manual handling duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 2 (Category C) vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial and high-street customers
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring products are handled with care
- Complete delivery paperwork and records accurately
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere to company procedures relating to health and safety, food hygiene, and compliance
- Deliver a professional and friendly service to customers at every stop
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience (preferred but not essential)
- Good levels of physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling duties
- Strong communication and time management skills
- A flexible and positive approach to workloads and early start times
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service
