As an LGV Class 2 Driver, you'll be responsible for carrying out multi-drop refrigerated deliveries to our customers, including retailers, butchers, and catering clients. This is a hands-on role that combines professional driving with excellent customer service and manual handling duties.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class 2 (Category C) vehicles for local and regional deliveries
  • Complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial and high-street customers
  • Load and unload vehicles, ensuring products are handled with care
  • Complete delivery paperwork and records accurately
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
  • Adhere to company procedures relating to health and safety, food hygiene, and compliance
  • Deliver a professional and friendly service to customers at every stop

Qualifications

  • A valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
  • Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Good levels of physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling duties
  • Strong communication and time management skills
