Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Domestic & Commercial Electrician role based on sites in Berkshire, Oxfordshire, London and surrounding areas.
The electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in homes, offices, retail spaces, and other commercial properties.
Day-to-day tasks include full rewires, installing power and lighting circuits, performing planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing electrical faults, electric vehicle charging installations, electrical testing and emergency lighting testing.
The role involves conducting inspections and testing, ensuring work meets regulatory and safety standards, completing accurate documentation, and liaising with clients and colleagues to plan and deliver jobs efficiently.
The electrician will also support emergency call-outs as required and help maintain tools, materials, and a tidy working environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electricity principles and safe working practices.
- Proven at least 3+ years experience in electrical work for domestic and commercial installations.
- Skills in maintenance & repair of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and identify effective solutions.
- Relevant UK electrical qualifications (e. g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, 18th Edition, 2391 Testing & Inspection)
- Familiarity with current wiring regulations and electrical testing procedures.

- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively work with a team of electricians and travel to job sites.
- Full UK driving licence and experience using basic digital tools for job reporting is beneficial.
