A highly successful Medical Technology business with roots and presence throughout Europe are working with DB Charles Recruitment to hire a new Graduate Key Account Manager to cover new & existing clients in areas predominantly around the Midlands area (Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Kettering, Nottingham, Derby, Walsall, Northampton, Shrewsbury, Oxfordshire).
The business is looking to speak to science-based degree/masters graduates that are wanting to move into medical sales. They have a superb reputation for training candidates with little to no experience and providing long-term career paths.
The role will be focusing on Medical Sales, liaising with contacts within the NHS, Private Hospitals (surgeons/nursing staff) through to procurement & finance professionals. The hired candidate will report directly into and have the support of 2 senior team members. Key duties for the role will include:
- Developing new clients and maintaining existing business
- Lead follow-ups
- Product training
- CRM Management
- Pitches & presentations
The client will consider candidates with the following skill sets:
- A recent degree/masters graduate with a strong Biological/Medical/Anatomy focused subject background
- Contacts within the medical industry would be highly advantageous however not essential
- Must hold a full UK Driving License and have their own vehicle
- Must be based in the region they will be operating in
- Must be highly motivated and sales driven
- Strong ability to learn
The role will be working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm and the client is seeking to pay a salary of £35,000 per annum rising to £38,000 after the 6 month probation period with additional benefits such as:
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown period
- Uncapped quarterly commission schemes
- Plus many others
