An established distribution business that represents some incredible brands and services across beauty, pharmacy, retail, and jewellery is working in collaboration with DB Charles Recruitment to hire a new Area Visual Merchandiser & Sales Support to cover the South of England from the Midlands south.
The business represents brands and services across a variety of independent chains, retail stores, and nationals. They are looking to hire a new individual to assist in ensuring all stores are visually representing the brands correctly along with training staff in stores on how to sell the brands.
This role will require the hired individual to operate across the South of England, and day-to-day duties will include:
- Account management with stores and clients across the UK
- Carrying out visual brand checks
- Offering Visual Merchandising advice & guidance
- Networking
- Offering additional sales support
- Attending trade shows and networking events
- Demonstrating the brands, products, and services on offer
- Providing training & demonstrations on products
- Costing & ordering tasks
- Liaising with other internal teams
For this position, the business is looking for CVs with many of the following attributes:
- Previous Visual Merchandising experience within luxury retail such as jewellery, gift, health, watches, etc.
- Some sales experience would be beneficial; however, it is not essential
- Strong diary and account management skills
- Comfortable in a role covering the South of England from the Midlands south
- Must hold a full UK driving license
- Able to commit to overnight stays and attend weekend trade shows and networking events when required
The role is a Monday to Friday position, 40 hours per week, with some overnight stays required, plus some trade shows & networking events requiring weekend attendance. For this role, the client can offer a salary between £35,000 to £38,000 per annum, plus other aspects such as:
- Company car
- Xmas shutdown period
- Laptop
