Shift allowance of £3,936 per annum upon successfully completing the training school Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Introduction: DB Cargo UK id recruiting an Operations Supervisor in the Hinksey area to join our operational groundstaff team. As an Operations Supervisor you will be overseeing the preparations of our train, responsible for the day to day running of our depots and managing our teams of Drivers and Mobile Operatives. What you will be doing? The role of Operations Supervisor is hands on and requires commitment, dedication, forward planning and problem solving. You will be responsible for the management of Drivers, Mobile Operatives and Terminal Support Workers (location dependant) throughout their shift to ensure all trains depart safely and efficiently to customer needs. You will work with the Operations Manager to plan all site operations ensuring they are carried out safely and efficiently, following site rules and regulations. You will also be working alongside the rostering and planning teams ensuring you have the correct numbers of staff to facilitate each shift.
