Job Title: Locomotive Engineer Location : Dollands Moor Salary: £36,099 per annum with a shift allowance of £4,086 per annum Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Introduction: DB Cargo UK is recruiting a Locomotive Engineer in the Dollands Moor area to join our engineering team. What You Will Be Doing: As a Locomotive Engineer, you will support the safe, efficient maintenance and operation of our locomotives. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Maintenance and Technical Duties; Work closely with the Maintenance Team Co-ordinator and other team members to ensure all maintenance, repair and overhaul work on traction and rolling stock (T RS) and associated components is completed safely, thoroughly, professionally and on time. Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems above Unit 339 or Unit 350 level, but below ELT1/EWT1 level. Carry out work in accordance with Vehicle Maintenance and Overhaul Instructions (VMOI). Assist with breakdowns, recovery operations and other T RS-related incidents as required.
