dB Broadcast Ltd is looking for a Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator to support the day-to-day operation of our Purchasing & Logistics department based in Ely, Cambridgeshire. This is a varied, hands‑on role supporting broadcast and technology projects across purchasing, supplier coordination, logistics, asset administration and warehouse activities. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, engineering teams and suppliers to help ensure equipment and materials are ordered, tracked, delivered and recorded efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Raise purchase orders and monitor order progress
- Review purchase invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Track supplier deliveries, lead times and outstanding orders
- Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability and warranties
- Coordinate project logistics and equipment deliveries
- Maintain accurate asset and inventory records
- Support stock control, warehouse operations and equipment booking systems
- Assist with project handovers and customer asset reporting
- Support wider purchasing and logistics activities during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in a purchasing, logistics, warehouse or supply chain support role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience within broadcast, AV, engineering or electronics environments
- Experience coordinating deliveries or supplier logistics
- Forklift or PAT certification (or willingness to undertake training)
- Interest in broadcast technology and systems integration
