This is an exciting time to be part of DAZN as we continue to grow our rights portfolio whilst further developing our offering as the Global Home of Boxing. As a Video Editor, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality short and midform content, that will run across all DAZN channels and our live broadcasts. Working closely with a team of producers and post producers, you’ll help bring our sports storytelling to life through dynamic, engaging edits that meet broadcast and platform standards.
You’ll be comfortable managing multiple projects at once, working with both archive and shot footage, and adapting your creative approach to different sports, markets and audiences. This role suits a confident editor who thrives in fast‑paced environments, understands broadcast delivery requirements, and enjoys collaborating across teams to meet tight deadlines — all while maintaining a strong creative point of view. This role will be primarily based in our Hammersmith office, working shifts across Monday - Sunday.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Editing short form and mid form content including match promos, videos for broadcast and on our DAZN platform and social channels
- Managing multiple editing assignments concurrently, providing regular progress updates
- Supporting broadcast teams onsite on live OBs – from anywhere in the world.
- Interpreting briefs, creative treatments and project timelines to deliver content to scope
- Working with Producers and post producers to make creative and technical decisions on style, workflow and delivery
- Collaborating with post‑production teams to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
- Proactively communicating risks or issues that could impact delivery timelines
- Working occasional evenings and weekends either remotely or on location to support live event broadcasts, depending on our schedules.
What You’ll Bring:
- Previous experience in video or media production
- Strong knowledge of post‑production workflows and tools, particularly Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro)
- Excellent knowledge of export broadcast standards particularly in an HDR environment
- Confidence with grading and audio mixing edits to broadcast standard
- Working knowledge of after effects
- Experience or strong knowledge of multiple sports, particularly Boxing, NFL and football/soccer
- Previous experience working in a live broadcast environment, preferably at sports events. Or in a fast turnaround creative agency
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence working with professional office software and tools
- A strong demo reel or portfolio showcasing relevant work
