The Role
As a Senior Media Planner, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing DAZN’s on-product promotional plans across our OTT and Linear platforms. You’ll coordinate the planning and scheduling of live and non‑live content, business updates, and promotional campaigns — ensuring every second on screen drives engagement and enhances the fan experience. You’ll act as the central point between Editorial, Marketing, Production, and Transmission teams, aligning promotional activity with key sports moments and business priorities. With a sharp eye for detail, a strong understanding of the sporting calendar, and a creative approach to audience flow, you’ll help maximise the visibility of DAZN’s premium content. What You\'ll Be Doing:
- Develop and maintain monthly media plans promoting key events, content, and company updates.
- Coordinate make‑list processes, ensuring accuracy and timely updates for live changes.
- Manage interstitial assets, promos, menus, and filler delivery lists for broadcast.
- Lead weekly delivery calls for promotional and half‑time editorial assets.
- Liaise with Ad Operations to schedule content in unsold advertising space.
- Brief and coordinate promotional campaigns across OTT and Linear channels.
- Manage legally obligated assets (e.g. UCL/UEL sponsorships) for broadcast compliance.
- Support asset management projects and operational guidelines for new channels and territories.
- Oversee testing and implementation of new planning systems.
- Optimise audience flow and continuity across DAZN’s channel portfolio.
What You\'ll Bring:
- Proven experience in media planning within a broadcast or sports environment.
- Proficiency with broadcast management systems, ideally MediaGenix Whats’ON.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of the sporting landscape and current events.
- Competence across Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
