Why Join DAZN?
At DAZN, creativity drives how we connect fans to sport worldwide, and joining us as a Motion Designer means stepping into a role where design truly influences global storytelling. DAZN has become one of the fastest-growing sports streaming platforms, holding premium rights from the UEFA Champions League to Serie A, Bundesliga, and many more. In this role, you’ll work within DAZN’s in-house Creative Services team, collaborating with talented designers, creatives, and production staff to deliver visually striking, innovative work. This is an opportunity to produce impactful content across digital, broadcast, and live events, ensuring our communications and marketing campaigns stand out in a crowded sports media landscape. With DAZN’s constant growth and ambition, your designs will not only elevate the brand but also directly contribute to business performance and fan engagement worldwide.
The Role
As a Motion Designer, you will create motion graphics and digital assets that bring DAZN’s campaigns, events, and broadcasts to life. From conceptualising ideas to executing final designs, you’ll deliver motion graphics that engage audiences across broadcast, digital, social, and live platforms. You will work closely with creative colleagues, producers, and stakeholders to interpret briefs and develop solutions that are visually compelling, brand-aligned, and performance-driven. This is a varied, hands‑on role that combines creativity with technical execution — whether you’re structuring projects from start to finish, collaborating with freelance artists, or delivering graphics onsite at live sports events. You’ll be part of a small but highly skilled team that travels internationally, supporting marquee sports productions and creating unforgettable fan experiences.
What You\'ll Be Doing:
- Design and deliver motion graphics for broadcast, promotional, and digital campaigns.
- Collaborate with creative teams and stakeholders to interpret briefs and pitch ideas.
- Create storyboards, style frames, and 2D animations with a strong focus on typography and storytelling.
- Commission or direct external illustrators, animators, and photographers where needed.
- Oversee projects through post‑production, ensuring accuracy, quality, and brand alignment.
- Deliver graphics and creative support at live sports events nationally and internationally.
- Maintain flexibility for varied schedules and occasional travel aligned with global sports calendars.
- Act as an advocate for DAZN Studios both within the business and externally.
What You\'ll Bring:
- Proven motion design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing 2D animation, storytelling, and brand work.
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere).
- Strong conceptual design, typography, and art direction capabilities.
- Great understanding of composition and attention to detail.
- Ability to pitch creative ideas confidently to stakeholders.
- Experience in marketing, brand, or advertising campaigns.
- Flexibility to support live productions and learn on‑site broadcast workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Benefits
Benefits include access to DAZN, 25 days’ annual leave (increasing by 3 days after 3 years), private medical insurance, life assurance, pension contributions up to 5%, family‑friendly community including enhanced parental leave, electric vehicle benefit option, free access for you and one other to our workplace mental health platform app (Unmind), learning and development resources, opportunity for flexible working, and access to our internal speaker series and events.
