The Role:
As Senior Commercial Partnerships Manager at DAZN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the business maximises the value of our media rights investments. You will work closely with the VP, Partner Account Management as well as others within the Global org structure to achieve this. You will own and lead relationships with select rights holder partners globally and will act as the main and most regular point of contact between DAZN and the rights holders.
This role shapes the post-deal commercial performance of DAZN's Rights Holder partnerships, ensuring contractual delivery, value realisation, and long-term partnership success. You will provide strategic insight and recommendations to senior leadership in the team, critically evaluating where improvements can be made to enhance results. Given the senior, cross-functional nature of the role, this position is London-based and requires regular in-office presence, with an expectation of at least three days per week.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Drive the commercial success of a portfolio of Rights Holder partnerships, in close collaboration with the VP, Partner Account Management.
- Act as the senior point of contact for Rights Holders, proactively managing performance, expectations, and escalations.
- Own partnership governance, including steering committees and senior-level business reviews.
- Partner closely with Legal and Finance on contractual interpretation, amendments, and performance enforcement with Rights Holder, ensuring value is realised.
- Drive alignment and decision-making across DAZN functions, escalating and resolving delivery risks as required.
- Keep internal teams on track to deliver against Contractual Obligations while balancing long-term relationship value.
- Lead cross-functional delivery against Rights Holder agreements, driving accountability across Marketing, Product, Finance, Tech and Operations.
- Ensure robust commercial governance across invoicing, payments, data-sharing, reporting, steering committee management, business cadence.
- Shape seasonal and multi-year partnership strategy in line with DAZN's commercial and content objectives.
- Monthly financial, subscriber and engagement reporting to Rights Holder.
- Own delivery and performance against agreed commercial, financial, and strategic KPIs across Rights Holder partnerships.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years' experience in an account / partner management or activation environment, preferably in sports, music, entertainment or broadcast industries.
- Strong interest and understanding of the sports, broadcast and new media landscapes.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance contractual rigour, financial outcomes, and long-term partnership value.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced growth environment.
- Proven personnel, team and project management experience.
- Self-starter attitude with strong willingness and ability to work cross-functionally.
