DAZN’s in-house Creative department sits at the heart of how we bring sport to life for fans around the world. Working across multiple regions and platforms, the team delivers high-impact creative at scale, supporting some of the most exciting sports rights in the industry.
As Lead Studio Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how our creative engine operates across EMEA and beyond. You’ll help drive efficiency, introduce smarter workflows, and harness new technologies and automation as we continue to grow. This is a high-visibility role for someone who enjoys solving complex operational challenges, leading distributed teams, and partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver outstanding creative output for a global broadcaster.
The Lead Studio Manager is responsible for the effective intake, trafficking, prioritisation and delivery of creative briefs coming into the studio from across the business. You’ll ensure projects are resourced appropriately, delivered on time and within agreed budgets, while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
You will lead and mentor a team of Studio Managers and Coordinators across multiple EMEA markets and DAZN’s Creative Engine in Hyderabad. Acting as a senior operational leader within Central Creative, you’ll set standards, improve processes, manage capacity and be the primary escalation point for BAU project delivery, ensuring both creative quality and stakeholder satisfaction remain high.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Working closely with the Head of Production to ensure the monthly make list is progressing as planned, meeting agreed budgets, hours allocation and delivery deadlines across promo and design output.
- Line managing and mentoring a team of Studio Managers and Coordinators across EMEA and the Creative Engine in Hyderabad.
- Leading studio management to oversee allocation of all new projects, advising on suitability based on capacity, concurrency and skillset.
- Acting as the senior point of contact for project trafficking, prioritisation and resourcing decisions.
- Continuously improving studio workflows and processes in partnership with department leadership, embracing innovation, automation and new technologies.
- Ensuring 100% accuracy of data entry to support reporting on utilisation, creative and production errors, missed media and automation levels.
- Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders including Programming, Media Planning and Business Development.
- Acting as the first point of escalation for all BAU project-related queries.
- Representing Central Creative in cross-functional meetings when required.
- Providing both strategic guidance and practical advice to stakeholders on how projects should be delivered within brief and budget.
- Managing studio calendars, including awareness of leave, sickness and resourcing constraints.
- Overseeing the maintenance and organisation of shared drives and DAM systems, ensuring assets are correctly filed and archived.
What You'll Bring:
- Previous experience managing a large creative studio, ideally across multiple regions.
- Strong experience delivering both video and design assets, with in-depth knowledge of specifications, processes and delivery requirements.
- Proven track record managing cross-platform digital projects with large, distributed stakeholder groups.
- Experience designing, refining and embedding production workflows and operational procedures.
- Familiarity with OTT ecosystems and post-production processes.
- Experience working with automation tools and scalable production models.
- Ability to operate calmly under pressure and deliver structure to fast-moving environments.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of design tools, software and creative workflows.
- Flexible, adaptable approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and self-development.
