As a News Content Editor at DAZN, you will create engaging sports content across both written and video formats for the DAZN News platform. With a strong understanding of Boxing and Football, you’ll react quickly to breaking stories and trending topics, producing high-quality editorial content that keeps fans informed and engaged. Working closely with global news teams, you’ll help ensure DAZN News becomes the go-to daily destination for passionate sports fans. This role requires strong editorial judgement, creativity, and the ability to work at pace while maintaining high standards of accuracy and storytelling.
What You'll Be Doing:- Producing written articles covering breaking news and trending sports stories
- Creating short-form video content using DAZN’s sports rights and on-demand footage
- Working across multiple sports in collaboration with global news teams
- Covering major domestic and international sporting events
- Running live blogs for major sporting moments and breaking stories
- Supporting sub-editing and homepage management
- Contributing to DAZN’s social media editorial output
- Monitoring trending topics and reacting quickly with engaging content
- Proven experience writing both short-form and long-form sports articles
- Strong video editing skills and familiarity with image editing tools
- Interviewing experience and strong editorial judgement
- Understanding of SEO and article optimisation techniques
- Excellent knowledge of Boxing and Football
