As the Content Planner at DAZN, you will play a key role in the operation of DAZN’s global live and non-live event planning. We are looking for a talented, diligent candidate with a strong attention to detail and organisational skills. You will help to manage the events we schedule onto our platform, working with regional editorial, production and operational teams to ensure that all factors relating to our broadcast output are considered. You will play a pivotal role in determining what content is played out to our subscriber base. This is an individual contributor role that requires sharp attention to detail, an editorial mindset, and a passion for global sports.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Project manage broadcast rights deals from initial approval stage through to event selection, regional strategy, allocation of operational resource and broadcast.
  • Manage the planning of all live and non-live content that appears on the platform from multiple broadcast partners.
  • Act as key operational liaison between Central Planning, Production and Broadcast Operations teams to implement content strategy.
  • Advance plan broadcasts of all sports properties, estimating likely kick-off dates and times for all events ahead of fixture announcements.
  • Cultivate close relationships with suppliers, host broadcasters and rights holders to ensure accurate planning information comes into DAZN and supplier expectations are managed.
  • Manage DAZN’s broadcast channel capacity and resolve clashes.
  • Grow and develop expertise on key sports properties, leagues and competitions.
  • Handle production and editorial requests from regional programming teams.
  • Proactively manage schedule changes.
  • Act as key point of contact communicating DAZN schedule information to wider business units and external partners.
  • Attend weekly and monthly planning meetings with local and central teams.
  • Assist in ad hoc project work with the Central team.
  • Provide support and assistance for the linear channel planning and presentation teams.
  • Learn and maintain a strong understanding of DAZN KPIs.
