You’ll play a pivotal role in establishing DAZN Bet as one of the most trusted, engaging and differentiated brands in regulated betting and gaming. The Brand & Communications Director will be responsible for defining, building and protecting the DAZN Bet brand across all markets and stakeholder groups. This role will own DAZN Bet’s brand strategy, communications agenda, storytelling framework and external reputation, ensuring a clear, distinctive and consistent brand narrative across every touchpoint.
Working closely with senior leaders across DAZN Bet and the wider DAZN Group, you will shape how the business presents itself to customers, media, partners, regulators, industry stakeholders and employees. You will ensure that every campaign, partnership, launch and communication reinforces a coherent and compelling brand identity that drives awareness, trust and long-term growth. As a senior leader within the business, you will act as the custodian of the DAZN Bet brand while building and leading a high-performing Brand & Communications function.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Define and evolve DAZN Bet’s global brand positioning, identity and long-term brand strategy, ensuring a distinctive presence within the sports betting and gaming market.
- Own and maintain brand guidelines, messaging frameworks and tone of voice, delivering consistency across all customer, partner and corporate touchpoints.
- Lead DAZN Bet’s global communications strategy, managing PR, media relations, reputation management and executive thought leadership programmes.
- Develop and execute communication plans for major launches, market entries, partnerships and strategic business initiatives.
- Own the DAZN Bet storytelling framework across marketing, CRM, social media, sponsorships and partnerships, ensuring all content reinforces the brand narrative.
- Partner with Commercial, Growth and Partnerships teams to maximise brand value from sponsorships, ambassadors, media partnerships and DAZN‑owned assets.
- Act as the senior brand custodian across the organisation, influencing senior stakeholders and ensuring alignment with wider DAZN Group brand and communications strategies.
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing Brand & Communications function while managing agency partners and driving best‑in‑class brand execution globally.
What You’ll Bring:
- 10+ years’ experience in senior Brand Marketing, Communications, PR or Integrated Marketing leadership roles.
- Proven success building and growing consumer brands in highly competitive markets.
- Deep expertise in brand strategy, positioning, communications planning and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Exceptional storytelling, content development and messaging capabilities.
- Strong experience managing media relations, executive communications and corporate reputation.
- Experience operating across multiple international markets and diverse customer segments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership teams and manage complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance brand-building ambitions with business performance objectives.
- Outstanding communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
- Experience within sports, media, entertainment, betting, gaming or other digitally‑led consumer businesses.
- Experience activating sponsorships, partnerships and high‑profile consumer brands.
- Understanding of regulated industries and reputation management best practices.
- Passion for sport and a strong understanding of sports culture and fan engagement.
