Role Summary
Fashion assistant for Another Man magazine, the biannual print magazine, working alongside the team at our London offices to manage, produce and organise the print title and accompanying online and socials content.
Duties, Responsibilities & Deliverables
– Assist EIC and fashion editors to produce fashion shoots (including research, sample trafficking, call-ins, on set and returns).
– Booking and liaising with local couriers and international shipments (generate commercial invoices, bookings and any relevant related tasks).
– Assisting all fashion teams across shoots for each issue – there are on average 15-17 shoots per issue. Work includes speaking with editors then managing call-ins/requesting clothing and accessories from PR’s. Safely logging this through spreadsheets and updating the teams. Fittings before shoots in the office and working on set. Ensuring all samples borrowed are safely and quickly returned in pristine condition to PRS and maintaining the magazine\’s relationships with brands and PR companies.
– Keep the crossovers chart updated.
– At the beginning of each season request RTW and accessories lookbooks from prs and keep the lookbooks folder and masterlist updated, where lookbooks NA download and create linesheets from Vogue Runway.
– Support the fashion and editorial team throughout the season with research into emerging designers and accessories and any research into individual projects within each issue.
– Support Fashion Coordinator with tracking of expenses and miscellaneous fashion team admin.
– Support the fashion team with credits checks during magazine print production weeks.
– Support fashion team and manage fashion week schedule, including ticket requests and confirmations for shows and showroom appointments, managing RSVPs for events, creating a coherent and productive schedule, organising cars throughout the menswear seasons – January and June, with Ellie attending key advertiser mixed shows in February and September.
– Manage press day schedule, supporting the team with diary management, making sure the team calendar is updated with events and RSVPs.
– Maintain Fashion Cupboard (fashion cupboard inventory, keep the kit organized, make sure the space is tidy after every shoot, ..)
– Support the team with the Another Man Instagram – image research, fashion week coverage, posting on stories and grid, planning with the wider team.
