Daytona Motorsport are the UK’s leading outdoor kart racing group, with three venues (Sandown Park, Milton Keynes and Tamworth). We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Group Head of Finance to join the leadership team at our Head Office. This is a pivotal role in a dynamic, fast-paced organisation where finance is at the heart of strategic decision-making and growth.
You will be responsible for driving financial strategy, managing operational performance, and supporting the CEO and wider leadership team to ensure strong financial governance and long-term profitability.
THE ROLE
As Group Head of Finance, you will oversee all financial activities across the group. Your remit will include cash flow management, forecasting, budgeting, risk management, and supporting commercial initiatives. You will also play a key role in funding, M&A due diligence, and business case analysis for major projects such as system implementations.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and analysis
- Manage cash flow, treasury, stock control, and payroll
- Support strategic initiatives with data-driven financial insight
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including VAT and PCI DSS
- Oversee budget preparation and monthly performance reviews
- Identify and deliver cost efficiencies across the business
- Support and evaluate capital investment and asset management
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
