Job Details:
- Overall expert of clinical care setting and flow.
- Responsible for traveling to and overseeing supply management for designated locations.
- Assist with training and support for other techs or PCAs.
- Support providers in completion of patient care activities.
- Work in conjunction with manager and assistant manager as well as other leadership team members.
- Assist with leader patient rounding and support patient experience.
- Participate in quality processes and business meetings by providing input and completing audits per request of manager.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including confidentiality, attendance, safety, and infection control.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new hires at designated locations.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, computer skills, and customer service skills.
- Frequent communication and support with management to align with organizational initiatives and departmental goals.
- Strong understanding of budget goals and supply/inventory processes.
- Ensure supplies are maintained based on census needs and complete expiration checks.
- Work towards increasing customer service scores and reducing turnaround times.
- Accept delegated tasks and report patient information as indicated.
- Mentor and demonstrate leadership skills to support staff.
- Maintain knowledge and competency in registration and lab processes as required by manager.
- Collaborate with Dayton Children’s leaders to improve health outcomes.

Education: High School Diploma/GED required
Experience:
- 2 years PCA experience required
- 1 year Kids Express experience preferred
- 1+ year customer service and patient rounding required
- Registration and point of care lab experience preferred
Certifications: CPR American Red Cross BLS Healthcare Provider required
Department Specific Job Details: Will primarily support Kettering and Centerville Locations. Every third weekend (Sat/Sun) requirement. Hours of operation will be 9a-8p each day.
