Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Job Details: This position supports an abstraction project at a community practice. The Ambulatory Nurse reports to the Administrative Manager and performs treatments, administers medications, assists with procedures without anesthesia using aseptic technique, participates in employee education and orientation, and provides patient/family education to improve health outcomes. Family/significant others are involved in planning healthcare and health decisions. The nurse delegates and evaluates care to assistive personnel following hospital policies, recognizes individual patient needs, and advocates for patient rights and informed decision-making.

Additional Requirements: Must have graduation from an accredited nursing program, an Ohio RN license, and CPR certification from the American Heart Association. EPIC experience is preferred. A commitment to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing within 5 years of hire is expected.
