Salary: 15.25 per hour (UMBRELLA)

We are looking for compassionate and experienced Male and Female Support Workers/Carers to provide high-quality support to children and young people with complex care needs in their homes and within the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, consistent, and person-centred support within the home and community.
  • Deliver high-quality care tailored to each child’s individual needs and care plan.
  • Support with communication, emotional regulation, personal care, and daily living activities where required.
  • Plan and facilitate engaging, structured, and sensory-friendly activities that promote development, independence, and wellbeing.
  • Encourage participation in community-based activities while ensuring the child’s safety and comfort.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Accurately record care provided and report any concerns in line with safeguarding procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and own a reliable car for travelling to client locations and supporting community-based activities.
  • At least 6 months recent UK care experience, preferably supporting children or young people with additional or complex needs.
