We are looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants/Carers/Support Workers to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred support to a 78-year-old man in his home.
Location: Cornwall (TR19)
Salary: £15
Hours: Varying hours of 4 hrs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care and daily activities (e.g. dressing, feeding, mobility support).
- Must be able to administer medication.
- Catheter management.
- Must be competent managing PEG feeding.
- Provide respectful and compassionate care tailored to individual needs.
- Offer emotional support and reassurance as required.
- Follow personalised care plans and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate and timely records.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months recent care experience.
- Caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times.
- Medication trained.
- Competent managing PEG.
