Job Title: Band 6 Neonatal Nurse and Midwife Location: Lanarkshire, Scotland Pay Rate: NHS Specialist Band 6 Rates Contract Type: Agency / Locum Opportunities Role Overview We are seeking experienced Band 6 Neonatal Nurses and Midwives to support a busy Neonatal Unit. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, family-centred care to premature and sick newborn infants, working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities * Deliver specialist neonatal nursing care to newborn infants requiring intensive, high-dependency, or special care. * Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. * Monitor and manage infants requiring respiratory support, feeding support, and other specialist interventions. * Support parents and families throughout the infant's care journey. * Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. * Work collaboratively with neonatologists, midwives, and allied healthcare professionals. Essential Requirements * Registered Nurse (NMC Registered). * Neonatal nursing experience at Band 6 level. * Neonatal qualification or equivalent experience. * Experience within NICU, HDU, or SCBU settings. * Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills. Desirable * Neonatal Intensive Care Course (QIS Neonatal). * Experience with ventilated infants
