Daytime Healthcare are assisting a great national supported living organisation to recruit a Service Manager for their supported living site in Blackfen (Near Bexley). The site supports 4 adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities who are all wheelchair users and require full support with moving and handling, eating and drinking, and personal care. All the individuals enjoy a variety of activities like shopping, cooking, going to a football match, and much more!
The current staff team has an Assistant Service Manager and 10 support staff. Due to the role, a majority of the working week will be Monday-Friday 9-5; however, there is some flexibility to adjust these hours across the week to suit the service. There could be some occasional evening and weekend work where you will need to observe practices and ensure standards are being maintained across the services.
There are a few tasks which the hiring manager would like all candidates to complete prior to interview - this can be discussed further at the shortlisting stage.
