Daytime Healthcare are assisting a luxury Outpatient Clinic in Harley Street to recruit a Nurse to join them. This clinic has various departments including Outpatients, Dermatology and Surgical. There are training and development opportunities for the right candidate!
You must be a qualified nurse with a good level of English and be well presented. Newly qualified nurses will be considered (no visa sponsorship offered). This position is Monday to Friday only!
NURSE JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide nursing care to patients
- Assist with all clinics
- Carry out basic observations when required and record the results
- Monitor stock levels and order stock and non-stock items as required
- Ensure clinical areas are kept tidy
- Complete weekly/monthly audits for nurses and scan to folder
- Clean and check equipment, reporting faults to the company + Lead Nurse
- Demonstrate a caring and supportive manner to patients and relatives
- Undertake administrative duties as required; i.e. preparation of Consultant clinics, booking appropriate scans
- MDT preparation for Breast and Skin
- Assist Consultants with clinical procedures i.e.; Day surgery, Injections, Examinations, Chaperoning
- Record prescriptions accurately on excel and it is the nurse’s responsibility to ensure prescriptions are accounted for accurately
- Provide monthly wound stats and end of year stats
- Monitor prescription pads so they are never out of stock
- Provide education and support to patients regarding their treatments and diagnoses
