Daytime Healthcare are working with a luxury private hospital near St Johns Wood, that are seeking an experienced Medical Ward Manager to join them! There is a great package and development opportunities on offer! The role is for a 15-bedded unit specialising in the care of patients with a range of medical needs and those requiring stroke rehabilitation.
Duties include:
- To manage and lead the ward on a continual basis, to provide support to the Duty Managers and the Ward Managers of the other nursing departments.
- To provide supervision and support to the shift leaders and all members of the St Francis Ward team.
- To assist in the planning and the delivery of individualised, safe, effective and evidence based patient care.
- To ensure the provision of a welcoming, caring and safe environment for patients and their families.
- To lead in the Infection, Prevention and Control of the department.
- To lead in the efficient operational management of the department.
- To manage the department and the resources, including the staffing resources within the agreed annual budget set.
You must be an experienced Deputy Manager, Band 6 Senior Nurse or Ward Manager with Medical experience to be considered. Apply today!
