Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of anatomy. Duties
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Assist the physician during endoscopic examinations and interventions.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in their condition.
- Educate patients and their families about the procedures, expected outcomes, and post-procedure care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an endoscopy or surgical unit.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to endoscopic procedures.
