Daytime Healthcare are working with an established care agency who are seeking experienced Care Workers for a permanent domiciliary care worker position in central London. You must have some experience within the care sector and have your own right to work (no visa sponsorships or transfers are offered). We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domiciliary Care Worker to provide high-quality home care services in Central London. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting individuals with diverse needs, including elderly clients, those with disabilities, or individuals requiring specialized care such as dementia or autism support. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives by delivering personalized, respectful, and professional care within their own homes. All positions are paid, emphasizing the value placed on your skills and dedication.
This is a full-time role, 5 days per week. On your work days, you will work on a structured rota within the hours of 7:00am – 9:00pm, based on the following shift pattern:
- 7:00am – 2:00pm
- 5:00pm – 9:00pm
You are required to work both shifts each day. Weekends are likely to be included as part of your 5 day shift pattern.
Pay and hours:
- Your salary is based on care-related hours worked within these shifts, not the full shift block.
- The hourly rate is £14.80.
- You will receive a guaranteed annual salary of £28,860, provided you are available for your scheduled shifts. This salary is based on 37.5 hours of care-related work per week.
- If you work more than 37.5 hours of care-related work in any week, you will be paid for these additional care hours on top of your guaranteed salary at your normal hourly rate.
- On occasions where your allocated care hours are lower than expected, you may be required to make up your contracted hours at another time within your availability window, either on the same day or on another day.
- Head Office is based in Bromley. As part of your onboarding, you will be required to attend four consecutive days of paid induction training at our Bromley office. Travel to and from Bromley will be your responsibility.
