Consultant Clinical Psychologist / Private Mental Health Provider

Daytime Healthcare are assisting a top national mental healthcare provider to source a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to join the team in Ledbury.
This is a one day per week (7.5 hours) position providing consultancy to other professionals to provide goal-oriented care and treatment across the service and support with cognitive, psychometric and behavioural assessment, on a referral basis. You will be supported by an Assistant Psychologist based at the service and become part of a growing network of psychologists across our neurological services and the wider organisation.

As a Psychologist you will be:

1. Undertaking high quality specialist psychological interventions, on a referral basis.
2. Clinically supervising an Assistant Psychologist and supporting their professional development.
3. Working therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, undertaking the assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical methods.

To be successful in this role, you\’ll need:

1. Have BPS recognised psychology degrees and have Chartered Psychologist status.
2. Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
3. Be an approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS.

Annual salary of £72,000 – £77,000 pro rata.
