At Slick, a DaySmart company, we have built a smart booking platform and digital business partner for salons and barbers that is revolutionising how industry professionals interact with technology to improve their workflow and enhance their customers’ experience. Today, 65% of salons still use pen & paper to run their business and only 10% of bookings are made online. The beauty sector has yet to be transformed by technology and it is our mission to change that. We’ve taken a unique approach, being 100% customer focused, only building what works for salons, and our NPS score of 86 is a testament to the success of our strategy. Since launch in 2019, we’ve built a best in class product that is used by over 2000 UK salons, having taken over 20 million bookings, and we’re the only platform to have partnerships with L’Oréal, Meta and Stripe giving us huge credibility in the industry and a unique advantage over competitors.

We’re now hiring a Full Time UK based Marketing Designer with motion expertise to work alongside our Design Lead and our Chief Commercial Officer to drive customer acquisition, engagement and upsell.

Responsibilities

  • Create static assets for paid campaigns, landing pages, email nurtures and upsell programs.
  • Work closely with our Product Design Lead to align on style, evolve our visual language, and understand what has historically resonated with customers.
  • Translate product-driven insights into marketing assets that improve clarity, storytelling and conversion.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Growth and Product Marketing teams to iterate on creatives based on performance data.
  • Build and maintain a scalable design system for marketing assets including templates, motion presets and reusable components.
  • Contribute to creative strategy and brainstorming for campaigns, launches and lifecycle initiatives.
  • Stay current with design trends in SaaS, motion graphics, social video and performance marketing.
Required Skills
  • Strong, relevant experience as a Marketing Designer, ideally within a SaaS or digital-product environment.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing short-form video, motion graphics / campaigns as well as static ads, landing pages etc.
  • Strong understanding of designing for digital channels (paid social, display, email, web) and how creative impacts CTR, CVR and engagement.
  • Ability to communicate openly with team members and clearly explain thinking behind design choices.
  • A mindset that blends creativity with performance and comfortable iterating quickly based on data.
  • Strong attention to detail in composition, typography, colour, and motion timing.
  • Proactive, self-directed and energised by a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience designing for lifecycle marketing and customer expansion.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and data-driven design.
  • Basic HTML/CSS awareness for landing page implementation.
  • Experience in brand systems or UI-adjacent design is a plus.
  • Experience of working in WebFlow.

The salary range for this role is £40,000 to £50,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.
