Overview
We are hiring for an Account Manager within DaySmart Software's Slick Education team. This role combines sales and education to help customers become active users of Slick, build close, long-term client relationships, and expand use of Slick to benefit all parties.
As a swift learner, you will develop business and product knowledge to identify relationship opportunities quickly. You will be trusted to understand customer use cases, provide recommendations in their best interest, and communicate effectively to resolve frustrations and celebrate successes.
Responsibilities
- Relationships: build trust with salon owners and position yourself as a business and industry expert.
- Training and retention: deliver excellent onboarding and ongoing training to maximize value and retention.
- Existing Features & Usage: understand customer goals, attempts, and why; educate and drive feature adoption to meet business needs.
- New Features: raise awareness of new launches and provide education and training as needed.
- Payment Sales: upsell POS payments to maximize revenue and leverage Slick’s payment and tipping solutions.
- Churn management: proactively identify at-risk accounts and reduce churn through training, support, and conveying feature needs to Product.
- Product expert: become the product advocate, explain benefits, and build case studies for reference; articulate business and consumer value.
- Salon expert: monitor market trends and advise salons on best use of Slick to grow their business.
- Voice of the customer: partner with the Customer Support and Product teams to represent customer needs and explain why they want changes.
- Teamwork: collaborate with the Customer Support team to provide insights to Management and Product teams.
Requirements
- Account Management: experience managing customers in-person or over the phone; able to build rapport quickly.
- Education & training: experience delivering training sessions and guiding users through products.
- Industry: passion for the hair and beauty industry and consumer trends; motivated for success.
- Love products: comfortable learning and selling product benefits; training support available.
- Get analytical: ability to analyse data to identify opportunities and risks.

How You Will Work
This is a UK-based position with flexible arrangements: fully remote, in-person, or hybrid. An office is available in London for those who prefer in-person work.
