The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

To deliver accurate vehicle repair estimates and provide a high standard of customer service throughout the repair journey. The Estimator/Advisor acts as the key link between customers, insurers, and the workshop.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect vehicles and identify all visible and potential damage
  • Produce accurate repair estimates using approved systems
  • Submit estimates to insurers and liaise with engineers
  • Raise and manage supplementary estimates
  • Ensure all estimates meet manufacturer and insurer standards

Customer Service & Communication

  • Act as main point of contact for customers
  • Book vehicles in and explain repair process clearly
  • Provide regular updates (minimum every 3 days)
  • Manage expectations regarding timelines and delays
  • Handle queries and complaints professionally

Workflow Coordination

  • Work closely with workshop, parts and insurers
  • Monitor repair progress and ensure efficient job flow
  • Maintain accurate job status updates

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with BS10125 and manufacturer standards
  • Maintain complete job files including photos, authorisations and repair documentation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous bodyshop estimating or advisor experience
  • Knowledge of estimating systems (e.g. Audatex, Autoflow)

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
