What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll begin by learning the business from the ground up, ensuring our vehicles are prepared to the highest possible standard before they reach our customers.
- Initially, your responsibilities will include:
- Valeting and preparing vehicles for sale including polishing and minor paint detailing
- Ensuring every vehicle meets our presentation standards
- Assisting with vehicle movements and deliveries locally and nationwide where required
- Maintaining the forecourt and display areas
- As your knowledge and confidence grow, so will your responsibilities. You’ll begin to:
- Photograph newly arrived vehicles
- Prepare vehicle forecourt advertisements and pricing
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the dealership
- Handle customer enquiries whenever the sales team are occupied
- Support the Sales Manager with forecourt and showroom displays
- With continued training, commitment and proven performance, you’ll have the opportunity to progress into a fully customer facing sales role.
What we’re looking for:
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK
- All applicants must hold a full UK driving license
- A clean driving licence is preferred however minor points will be considered
- Can work well in a team but also use their initiative when required
- A good working knowledge of the local and surrounding area
- Good face to face communication skills
- Committed team player and a drive to succeed
- No previous experience is required, just a desire to learn and grow.
