Who we are
We’re DAYMADE: we make people’s day, every day. We run weekly prize draws with better odds, experience‑led prizes, and a positive mission, including planting trees along the way. Since launching in 2019, we’ve grown to £10m+ ARR. Our ambition is to scale DAYMADE to £50m+ in sales over the next few years, while building a durable, trusted consumer brand.
The role
We’re hiring a Head of Marketing to architect and lead DAYMADE’s growth engine as we scale toward £50m+ sales and beyond. Our ambition is simple: make DAYMADE a UK household name. Your mission is to turn that ambition into a repeatable, scalable growth system. You will own DAYMADE’s marketing strategy, budget allocation, brand narrative, channel mix, lifecycle marketing and team leadership. You’ll lead the existing marketing team and work closely with Product, Tech, Design and the founders to connect acquisition, brand, product experience and retention into one joined‑up growth system. Success in this role means consistently converting marketing investment into sustainable, capital‑efficient growth within clear performance guardrails - not growth at any cost. We’re looking for someone who has already helped scale a consumer brand through meaningful growth stages and wants to take ownership of building the marketing engine of a company with category‑defining ambitions.
What you’ll own
- Marketing strategy to £50m+ - Own the roadmap to scale DAYMADE from a performance‑led scale‑up into a trusted, recognised UK consumer brand.
- Team leadership - Lead, develop and coordinate the marketing team across performance, CRM, social, lifecycle and creative execution, ensuring priorities are clear and activity is joined up.
- Commercial budget ownership - Own a £10m-£20m+ annual marketing budget with accountability for payback period, LTV:CAC, blended CAC and cohort performance.
- Brand and channel expansion - Define DAYMADE’s brand narrative and growth strategy across Meta, Google, TV, OOH, influencers, partnerships and other scalable channels, with clear measurement and efficiency targets.
- Growth economics and decision‑making - Use tracking, cohort analysis, forecasting and experimentation to guide investment decisions, prioritise trade‑offs and scale what works.
- Marketing execution system - Build a disciplined creative, testing and launch process that helps the team move quickly without losing strategic focus or commercial discipline.
Requirements
- Senior B2C marketing leadership - Experience in a UK B2C subscription or consumer brand scaling from roughly £10m to £30m ARR.
- Large‑scale budget ownership - Ownership of £10m to £20m+ annual marketing budgets, with direct accountability for payback period, CAC:LTV and blended CAC in a scale‑up environment.
- Growth within efficiency guardrails - Proven ability to build and execute growth plans within clear financial constraints, not unlimited‑budget environments.
- Data‑led decision‑making - Strong track record using data, tracking and cohort analysis to guide investment decisions and trade‑offs.
- Brand and performance integration - Experience taking a UK consumer brand from performance‑led growth toward broader cultural or category‑level recognition, without losing commercial discipline.
- Brand effectiveness measurement - Comfortable defining and tracking brand effectiveness metrics and linking them directly to commercial outcomes.
- Scaled channel experience - Experience operating within Meta and beyond at meaningful scale, including TV and/or OOH, with ownership of measurement, testing and efficiency.
Why join DAYMADE
- Opportunity to lead marketing at a fast‑growing UK consumer scale‑up.
- Real ownership of strategy, budget, brand and team.
- Clear ambition to build a recognised UK consumer brand.
- Hybrid working with 1 office day per week (Thursday).
- Performance bonus.
- Private health insurance.
- Regular team socials.
