About The Role
Daylesford Stays provide experiences that embrace luxury escapism: understated elegance, indulgence and nurture. Each property has been thoughtfully designed to convey a sense of its character and individuality while retaining a feeling of warmth and welcome. Design draws from local skills, craftsmanship and architectural tradition, and buildings have been sensitively but beautifully restored to reflect and respect their environment. Each venue captures a unique spirit and character; a chance to escape every day, to retreat to the sanctuary of a friendly pub, or experience the comfort of a home away from home.

Due to insurance purposes, applicants must be a minimum of 25 years old and must have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 3 years. You will be driving a luxury, Jaguar Land Rover fleet vehicle as a part of the role.
SALARY: Β£12.38 per hour + Tronc
HOURS: Full time 40 Hours β Weekends Included
Responsibilities
- To always be a friendly and professional point of contact to all guests, following protocols with contact over the phone, via email and face to face during their stay.
- To greet all guests upon their arrival, providing assistance with their luggage and providing and introduction to their accommodation and the local area.
- To anticipate guest needs and go above and beyond in assisting with requests. Being proactive in your approach to your work at all times.
- To work varied shifts on both our Reception Desk and fulfilling and delivering concierge services to our guests staying in our cottages.
- To build an in-depth knowledge in operating a range of systems including our PMS (Opera), & other systems used within the business including, but not limited to, ResDiary, MindBody and Microsoft Office.
- To work closely with other departments to ensure service & our guest experience is seamless across the business.
- Ensure payments are processed accurately and with confidence and discretion.
- To have a positive, can-do attitude, contributing to a pleasant working atmosphere.
- To enjoy a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible to a wide range of duties, including, but not limited to, administrative and operational duties.
- To ensure all front office working areas are kept clean and tidy throughout shift, including company vehicles.
- To be punctual and immaculately groomed for every shift as per company policies.
- To be flexible in your approach to work, assisting other areas of the business as needed.
- To be an ambassador and knowledgeable about the Bamford Collection, ensuring our guests are aware of all that we have to offer as a collection.

- Exceptional Communication Skills (Written and Verbal): Ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally across a variety of channels. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for engaging with high-profile guests, understanding their needs, and ensuring a personalised and memorable experience. Must be able to adapt tone and language for different audiences with poise and discretion.
- Proactive Approach to Luxury Service & Local Expertise: Demonstrates a genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences through anticipation of needs, attention to detail, and thoughtful service delivery. A strong understanding of the local area, culture, attractions, and hidden gems is key to delivering insightful recommendations and curating bespoke experiences tailored to VIP preferences.
- Excellent Time Management & Organisational Skills: Capable of multitasking in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while prioritising tasks effectively. Must be able to remain calm under pressure and ensure all guest interactions and service requests are fulfilled promptly and efficiently, exceeding expectations at every opportunity.
