With 13 beautifully appointed rooms and visually stunning food with vibrant organic seasonal ingredients from Daylesford Farm, The Bell combines comforting dishes with culinary flair. Deeply rooted in the community, it regularly hosts events and workshops in collaboration with local organisations.
Under the guidance of Nathan Walker-Unwin—an integral figure in the opening of two acclaimed Daylesford pubs—The Bell fosters a culture where every team member is valued and every guest is welcomed like family.
The on target earning potential for this role is £32,479.20 per annum based on a 45-hour contract – comprising a base salary of £29,969.20, plus a qualified estimate of £3,510 in gratuities and service charge*. Please note this role is paid hourly so this is a projected salary and OTE.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the restaurant, pub and private dining spaces (depending on where the need is) are set up for every meal period, respecting the restaurant-specific standards.
- Delivering outstanding guest service by exceeding guest expectations.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all dishes and beverages on the menu, being able to bring them “to life” in conversation with guests, and be aware of all potential allergens.
- Keep a constant attentive eye on the timing and flow of service at your tables, highlighting any delays to your manager.
- Ensure all bills presented to the guests are correct and are cashed off correctly.
- Bring our purpose to life by driving meaningful social and environmental improvements, contributing to our journey as a B Corp, and aligning with our sustainability vision.
- Inspire and empower our customers, suppliers, and partners to live and work more consciously, creating a lasting positive impact on the world.
