Assistant Restaurant Manager, The Wild Rabbit

Salary: £43,500 per annum OTE*
Hours: 48 hours per week (including evenings and weekends)
About The Role
We’re looking for an inspiring, detail-driven Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team and play a vital role in the continued success of one of the Cotswolds’ most respected dining destinations.

Your Responsibilities
- Support daily operations across the restaurant and private dining spaces
- Oversee preparation and setup to the highest presentation standards
- Maintain an expert overview of floor service, flow and guest experience
- Lead daily briefings and tastings with the kitchen team
- Motivate, train and support the front‑of‑house team
- Manage reservations and coordinate guest flow with the Host team
- Drive revenue through confident menu knowledge and upselling
- Resolve guest feedback calmly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and hygiene standards
- Support with rota management, recruitment and performance reviews
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Supervisor in a fine dining or multi‑rosette setting
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team under pressure
- Strong knowledge of food, wine and beverage service
- Exceptional attention to detail and service flow
- Professional communication and calm problem‑solving

Compensation Overview
The on‑target earning potential for this role is £43,500 per annum based on a 48‑hour contract, comprising a base salary of £35,500, plus a qualified estimate of £8,000 in gratuities and service charge.
Gratuities are paid on a pro‑rata basis. It is estimated that in 2025 full‑time employees can expect to receive in the region of £8,000 in addition to their annual salary.
